I am a sucker for love songs, poems and anything lovey dovey... so when I came across this, I couldn't resist to share it with all of you who are 'love suckers' like me... ;-) Enjoy...
Red is the color of which I will bear.
Like the color of a rose, it tells that I am true.
For me to state anything else is quite false.
My love for you runs more deep and more true than the glorious color of a red rose.
It runs more deep than the bluest ocean or widest sea.
My love for you will always be there, even tough I may not be.
If you are going to forgive me then the love I have for you will pour over you and fill your veins until the blood that now flows in them will now be my love.
It is so strong that the moment I stand up it knocks me down.
I've never met anyone quite like you.
You are the only thing that keeps me living.
You are the only thing that is running through my body.
My body, mind and soul are taken by your power.
Your love is the thing that that makes my heart beat,
Every second that you are not there it slows down a beat,
When I hear your voice again my heart beats faster hoping for your return.

Yester's Happiness Tomorrow's Memory
Each happiness of yesterday is a memory for tomorrow!
Indeed it is! Happiness is one thing that one holds on to. It evokes nostalgic moments that instantly warms your heart and a warm hearty smile or laugh follows shortly. The human mind is soo intriguing that it can store up all happy moments in as equal measure as storing unpleasant or sad memories, only that the latter is often blocked because no one want to dwell on unhappy moments.
In most instances happy memories are triggered when you observe or are witness to a similar incidence that happened or occurred in your presence or participation. It reaches a point in life that one never realizes that one needs to take a break and smell the coffee, being enslaved in the rat race, where all this is being in pursuit of realization and quest to reaching the optimal 'self actualization'.
We are soo used to operating our daily lives on an auto-pilot such that we never get to appreciate the going-ons in our environment. Just start with at-least 10 minutes a day, just to observe what is happening in your environment. You will be amazed at what you will be able to see at a glance of those very ten minutes!
Gradually, you will be able to appreciate taking some time out and just be the quiet listener, and by so doing, you will truly be able to see that.... "Each happiness of yesterday is indeed a memory for tomorrow!"
I challenge you to try it, and gimmie feedback to that effect. Your ten minutes start now....

Customer Service... or what?
One of the rather unpleasant things that happened to me the other day left me wondering when did customer service change? If you are in the service industry, customer service and satisfaction is quite critical for business. A warm smile and simple gestures and body language often are a plus or minus to you as a service provider. So you can imagine my shock when after purchasing a cooking gas refill from a supermarket chain, when I was told to get out of my car and load the cylinder myself!!!! IMAGINE THAT!!!
The gas attendant on duty that day, asked whether I had a car, I answered to the affirmative. she then told me to 'bring it' next to the gas cylinder collection point, outside the supermarket. I gladly did so and upon parking, she had the audacity to tell me... ME... to get out of the car and load it myself!!! Heelloooo....
Just hold on a minute I call someone to load it in your car... THAT there my friends... is customer service! but WTH was that she just told me????!!!! I really felt bad for that treatment. Let's just say, the team leader/manager of that branch got to know of the incident and I demanded an apology to that effect!
I AM a VALUED customer like any other customer, and therefore customer service and satisfaction should be your top most objective!

What really happens?
I don't know what really happens but there are some days when one just wakes up on the wrong foot/side! There are many a times that I have wished I could have the power to stop time or fast forward it to another day, just so I don't get to have unpleasant things one after consume every ticking minute of that day!
For me to get an answer to this, I really need to engage a few of my close friends to an intimate talk. These friends are those that are a 'must have' in everyone's life. I say so because they are the ones that tell you off when need be and always able to tell white from black at a glance of you. They give you a reality check and not that "yes... yes" polite way of supporting whatever it is you propose to them or want to do.
...and WHY do I want to? Well... of late I have been having many incidences that are happening to me, of which, aren't pleasant at all, to say the least. Is it that I have a "woiyeeee" face? Is it my warm heart that is betraying me? or is it that I am too polite that I bring out the bitch in someone??!!!
I have been busy and not in touch or rather mingle a lot with people lately that I find that people have become mean overnight! Is life too harsh for you such that you constantly feel the need to frustrate any person who is just simply happy??!! Gosh! People need to style up and relax! Kueni wapole.....

Scars
Never be ashamed of the scars that life left you with.
A scar means the hurt is over, the wound is closed,
You endured the pain and God has healed you. Aameeen!!!

Power of Prayer
Certain emotions just hang on, regardless of what you do. I thought I was a pro by now in suppressing
my emotions. But NOOO! When human effort fails to produce the desired change,
then it’s time to hand this over to God, the Most Gracious Most Merciful,
asking in prayer that the emotion be lifted from you. My own personal experience is enough prove
that this works, yeah..., when all the stubborn human effort has failed.
The constant thing that I have always included in my prayers over the
years is thanking Allah for giving me a
grateful heart. I am grateful for my life, my family and especially the
time He gave me with my Angel Mishi, albeit short-lived but I count my blessings
everyday and celebrate her life! I had no hope to hold on to, so I could raise the
her twin sister with the motherly love as I had with her older siblings. It later came to mind that I didn’t
know my own strength coz I got through the pain... for I had crashed down and
tumbled but I did not crumble. Currently, I often wonder and imagine how they woulda been
with her twin sister. *Sigh!*
I survived my darkest days and thought that I’d never make it through. But
my faith..., my faith kept me alive. I thought I’d never lift that weight but
Alhamdulillah! Her twin sister is very close to the father because he literally took over
her upkeep as I mourned Mishi. I would play and bond with her but not for long as Mishi’s
memory kept coming back rather fast! and go back into depression.
The bond M’ma has with her father is remarkable till it makes you
jealous. She’s typically the daddy’s gal! She wouldn’t sleep at night from when she was seven months, unless
she’s in her daddy’s arms with her bottle, looking deeply into his eyes. That
bond was deep as she would feel calm and doze off almost immediately the dad
carries her. They have their moments and silent code that makes you proud as a
parent.
Of all our kids, its M’ma that my hubby has really ‘leaad’ :) LOL... i.e
brought up coz she is all over, did I say ALL OVER... and up his personal space
and business! It really cracks me up whenever it happens. He’s usually a busy
man and at-times comes home late. You know how we wives are all worked up with
this, but thanx to the
technological advancements, the mobile phone has ‘simplified’ our worries...
;)
As calm, sleepy and drowsy as they usually are come 9.00pm, M’ma picks up
my phone and calls the dad. “Daddieee.... where are you?” (...silence as the dad
responds).
“Are you almost coming home?” me... :) .......(the dad responds) “Do I wait for you or do I go to sleep?” .....(the
dad responds) The negotiations for or
against are bargained.
“Okey, don’t forget to
bring for me my chocolate,...the white one and some chewing gum too. Okeeeeeey?”
..... "Okey daddy?" ....(dad responds).......“Goodnight daddiee... mwaaaah!”
She hands me back the phone and kisses me goodnight. “Goodnight baby...”
as I kiss her back.
